Five Ways Happy Days
Welcome to the Clubs and Groups Accreditation!
The Five Ways Happy Days accreditation, is designed to empower clubs, groups and communities to build supportive environments by upskilling members to have more meaningful conversations around mental health.
Accrediting clubs and groups through the Five Ways happy days framework empowers communities to encourage mental health awareness and build supportive environments. This approach not only enhances individual wellbeing but also strengthens community resilience. The accreditation serves as a mark of commitment to wellbeing, encouraging continuous learning and proactive engagement across all levels of the community.
Clubs and Groups Accreditation
The Five Ways Happy Days Clubs and Groups Accreditation supports clubs and community groups to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. It is open to any club, group or organisation and is split into three levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold. By achieving the bronze award, your group shows it is taking steps to reduce stigma around mental health and build a stronger, more resilient community. The Silver and Gold levels are currently being finalised, but you can explore the Bronze Accreditation below.
Community Workshops: A three-hour training session will be delivered on site to anyone in your club, group, or organisation who would benefit. Members of the local community not involved in your club are also welcome to join.
The training covers:
- Mental health
- Five ways to wellbeing
- Having meaningful conversations within your community
On completion, your club will receive Bronze Accreditation. You will be presented with a plaque recognising your achievement, featured in a social media spotlight on the Five Ways Happy Days channels, and, if you advertise sessions on Let’s Keep Bolton Moving, you will display an accreditation stamp. This ensures your club appears in searches for accredited groups.
